In the installation 'Travelling cycle-biotope for ants, plants and humans' physical effort is transformed into an act of biological care: it is the pedaling that hydrates the anthill and maintains the flow of nutrients within the plant ecosystem. This premise holds a warning about autonomy and self-organization: prolonged human inactivity forces the ecosystem to reconfigure itself toward a new equilibrium beyond our control, under its own rules, eventually emancipating itself from our presence.

This constant feedback directly affects the physical condition of the user/spectator, reinforcing a performative dimension where fatigue, laziness, or indifference impact the health of the biotope. Ultimately, the work functions as a metaphor for the co-evolution and mutual dependence that we often overlook regarding the ecosystems with which we intra-act.


En la instalación 'Ciclo-biotopo itinerante para hormigas, plantas y humanos' el esfuerzo físico se transforma en un gesto de cuidado biológico: es el pedaleo el que hidrata el hormiguero y mantiene el flujo de nutrientes del ecosistema vegetal. Esta cuestión encierra una advertencia sobre la autonomía y la auto-organización: la inactividad humana prolongada obliga al ecosistema a reconfigurarse hacia un nuevo equilibrio ajeno a nuestro control, bajo sus propias reglas, llegándose a emancipar de nuestra presencia.

Esta retroalimentación constante afecta directamente a la condición física del usuario/espectador, reforzando una dimensión performativa donde la fatiga, la pereza o la indiferencia impactan en la salud del biotopo. La obra funciona, en última instancia, como una metáfora de la coevolución y la dependencia mutua que a menudo obviamos respecto a los ecosistemas con los que intra-accionamos.
